Synoptic weather reports from land stations are collected in accordance with international standards contained in the WMO Manual 306. These reports a could issued several times a day but there are four main synoptic hours at 00,06,12, 18 UTC (Universal Time Coordinated). The message is delivered oth from ground stations, marked with a suffix AAXX and sea vessels or buoys indicated by the suffix BBXX.
