Il Clima   Climate
Da un punto di vista climatico, la Svezia è caratterizzata da condizioni nettamente continentali, con precipitazioni poco abbondanti (generalmente inferiori ai 750 mm annui) e notevoli escursioni termiche. Le estati non sono eccessivamente calde, ma gli inverni sono assai rigidi, particolarmente nell'interno più che nelle zone settentrionali: a Umea si hanno -9 °C in gennaio e 16 °C in luglio, pressappoco come a Goteborg, ma a Sarna nella valle del Dan vicino al confine norvegese si va dai -17 °C in gennaio ai 12 °C in luglio. Il freddo intenso in inverno gela per parecchi mesi le acque del Baltico e del Golfo di Botnia ostacolando l'accesso ai porti.   Swedish shows typical continental climatic characteristics with few rainfalls ( and generally inferior to 750mm per year) and evident temperature's excursions. Summers are not very hot, but winters are very cold especially in the internal areas: in Umea there are -9°C in January and 16°C in July as it happens in Goteborg, but in Sarna in the Dan valley near the Norway's limits there are -17°C in January adn 12°C in July. The strong cold ices in winter for several months and the Baltic waters and the Botnia Gulf obstruct the access to the ports.
