Il Clima   Climate
Il clima ha carattere oceanico, soprattutto nelle regioni costiere, con precipitazioni frequenti tutto l'anno (2300 mm annui a Bergen). Le escursioni termiche , per via dell'influsso della Corrente del Golfo, non sono molto accentuate (sempre a Bergen si hanno 3 °C in gennaio e 14 °C in luglio) e le stesse temperature invernali sono relativamente alte. Sugli altipiani interni e sui rilievi il clima diventa più rigido: oltre il circolo Polare Artico acquista caratteri subpolari, mentre nelle vallate che confluiscono verso l'Oslofjorden, tende a continentalizzarsi. Il sole che non tramonta mai, infatti il sole di mezzanotte si vede dal 23 maggio al 17 luglio nelle isole Lofoten e dal 14 maggio al 30 luglio a Capo nord. Nella Norvegia del sud il cielo resta chiaro fino alle 23, mentre in quella settentrionale esso non sorge da fine novembre a fine gennaio.   This country has an oceanic climate, especially in the coastal areas, with frequent rainfalls all year round (2300mm per year in Bergen).. The temperatures'excursions are not very accentuated thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream, ( in Bergen there are 3°C in Janyary and 14°C in July) and the same winter temperatures are not very cold. On the internal tablelands and on the mountainous reliefs the climate gets rigid: apart for the Arctic Polar Circle it gets subpolar characteristics, while on the valleys next to Oslofjorden, it tends to become continental. The sun, here, never sets and just the midnight sun can be seen from 23rd May to 17th July in the Lofoten islands and from 14th May to 30th July in the north Cape. In south Norway the sky keeps clear until h.23.00, while in north Norway it never rises from the end of November to the end of January.
