Il clima invernale è meno rigido rispetto a quello della Corea del nord, anche se gli inverni sono comunque molto freddi e secchi per cui la temperatura scende sotto lo zero e occasionali sono le nevicate. Le estati sono calde e molto umide (la temperatura media di giugno è di 27-28 °C). Le precipitazioni, che risentono del regime monsonico, sono concentrate nel periodo estivo (fine giugno e tutto luglio); occasionali tifoni si hanno col terminare dell'estate, mentre i cicloni sono primaverili.   Its winter climate is less rigid than the one in North Corea even though winters are anyway very cold and dry and the temperatures come down 0°C with occasionally snow falls. Summers are very hot and humid ( the average June temperature is about 27°-28°C). Rainfalls are influenced by the monsonic regimen and they are concentrated above all in summer, actually, between the end of June and July; occasionally typhoons are possible at the end of the summer, while cyclones are frequent in spring.
