Il Clima   Climate
Il clima presenta nel complesso caratteristiche equatoriali, con temperature elevate e costanti tutto l'anno (tra i 22 °C e i 32 °C) e precipitazioni abbondanti che si attestano generalmente sui 2000-3000 mm annui, ma possono raggiungere i 6000 mm. Sulla costa orientale le piogge si concentrano nel periodo ottobre-febbraio per i monsoni che soffiano da nord- est; sulla costa occidentale invece le piogge sono meno abbondanti e si concentrano nel periodo che va da maggio a settembre a causa dei monsoni che provengono da sud-ovest. L'umidità è molto elevata, infatti è quasi sempre superiore al 90%.   The climate in this country has equatorial characteristics with elevated and constant temperatures all year round ( between 22° and 32°C) and abundant precipitations of about 2000-3000mm per year, but they can reach 6000mm. On the oriental coast rainfalls are concentrated between October and February for what regards monsoons blowing from north-east; on the occidental coast, instead, rainfalls are less abundant and are generally concentrated in the period between May to September due to the presence of the monsoons blowing from south-weat. Humidity is very high and it is always highest than 90%.
