Le condizioni climatiche del Ghana sono caratterizzate in senso subequatoriale nelle regioni meridionali dove le precipitazioni possono superare anche i 2000 mm annui; esse tendono a decrescere verso est e verso nord e a farsi più intense nel periodo estivo, in relazione allo spirare di venti di tipo monsonico.   The climate of this country is characterised by sub-equatorial elements in the southern areas where precipitations can exceed 2000mm per year but they generally decrease passing from East to North and getting more abundant during summer, according to the blowing of the Monsoons.
