As a consequence of its horographical structure, Perù seems characterised by different climatic areas. The coastal area is dominated by an oceanic and desertic climate with strong humidity, poor rainfalls and not very elevated temperatures due to the influence of the cold stream of Humdoldt. On the western reliefs of Sierra the climate gets more and more continental with the increasing of the altitude, while on the eastern mountainous reliefs of Sierra the climate changes from a midl one in the high mountain to an equatorial one in the Montana, with uniformly elevated temperatures and abundant rainfalls ( superior to 2000mm).
