It’s with a great pleasure that we announce the sign of a technology partnership between Datameteo LRC-SERVIZI and Nesa srl at the presence of respective CEOs Gabriele Ghibaudo and Pierluigi Bassetto.

Nesa srl is the Italian leading player active in the design, construction, certification and installation of systems for environmental monitoring and technologies for the remote control.
Datameteo and Nesa strongly both believe in the strategic value of promote the highest performance and technological innovation integrated in a qualified service, managed by a team of highly competent operators. For wind assessment market Nesa provides First Class anemometers, certified MeasNet calibration, which have passed the most stringent functional tests, performance and durability required by the regulations for wind monitoring. Anemometric masts and sensors are put in place in accordance with IEC 61400-1 2 and WMO-No.8 Annex specifications to over 100 meters high. These instruments allow Datameteo to enlarge its portfolio of service & competence at many different stage of wind farm project..

Datameteo for renewable energies



1. At a first level wind assessment, performed by high resolution model Re-analysis, we can therefore certify the wind time series generated by the model via short measurement campaigns in site (about 6-months). Data collected are extended by the model till 5 – 10 years, this way keeping into account seasonal and yearly variability in wind re source.

2. To run accurate wind energy assessment we manage measurement campaigns in site. Collected wind time serieses are analyzed via CFD software running by our in-house specialist, to draw reports available for due diligence procedures, including financial steps for small and large wind mills.

3. In the wind farm management stage, NESA instruments monitor environment and anemological conditions in site, allowing asset performance calculation and energy yield measurement.

For solar power market:

1. For first & definitive solar enegry assessment, performed by model Re-analysis, Nesa provides FirstClass Piranometer who have passed the most stringent functional tests, performance and durability required by IEC EN 61215.
All data are collected by Datameteo to draw reports available for due diligence procedures, including financial steps.
2. In the solar farm management stage, NESA instruments monitor environment and solar radiation conditions in site, allowing asset performance calculation and energy yield measurement.
